Fatima Umar

Fatima Umar is a seasoned professional with a strong background in international business, marketing, and travel management. She holds a B.Sc. in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and an M.Sc. in International Business from Coventry University, UK. She is also IATA-certified in ticketing and fares.

Her career began at Telnet Nigeria Limited in 2006, where she served as a Personal Assistant to the Director of iTECO. She later joined Zenith Bank Plc as a Business Development and Marketing Officer, refining her skills in client relations and business growth. In 2011, she played a key role in the local organizing committee for Copa Lagos, overseeing ground logistics, hospitality, and flight arrangements for over 75 delegates.

In 2012, while pursuing her master’s degree in the UK, Fatima and her partner laid the foundation for Innovative Hospitality Ltd. Upon her return in 2013, she immersed herself in industry training and spearheaded the company’s growth. Under her leadership, Innovative Hospitality Ltd. has evolved from handling logistics for beach soccer events into a thriving, IATA-certified travel management company.
